Hands down I can attest that I was theee best dressed guests at an award presentation at The Supreme Court of the United States. If you're attending a black tie affair, this dress will surely make the best statement and project luxury & elegance, all while undoubtedly making you look Elite. I was convinced that I would have to have this magnificent gown altered at the hem but I stand at 5'4 & the dress fit me perfectly without any adjustments. I'm usually a size 10 (170 lbs), however, I opted for a size 12 since the fabric has no stretch & that was actually an excellent decision, so I'd recommend to size up. The material is beautiful. I'm not for certain but I believe the material is something like a taffeta. Once you unbox it you'll notice some creases on the side from the way it's folded for shipping but you can use a steamer to smooth them out. I had to do that for about 10 min to really remove them. The gown wears nicely on your silhouette. It absolutely felt like it was custom made. At first when pulling up the zipper you'll think the dress won't fit right, but once zipped up, you'll be able to move freely and it's not tight at all. You'll receive tons of compliments but most importantly, you'll feel so confident in your choice, which will make your time at the event all that much more pleasant.
