Small details make for pleasant surprise!
The beautiful fabric has silver threads on the back of the beautifully embossed floral pattern. The silver threads create a lovely highlight and shadow in the rose motif. The color is aptly named as Sangria. It isn’t red nor magenta nor purple. The color is vibrant and alive. Also, don’t let how it looks when it comes out of the box fool you. None of the side or back seams were ironed, dress looked like a rumpled mess just out of the box. But a quick iron and the dress unfurled into a beauty! 18 fit perfectly. Beautiful choice! Perfect for the MOB high end black tie wedding.

Purchased in Blue, Fabulous mother of the groom dress!
I wanted something that was timeless, elegant, and did not have sequins or beading. The fabric is fantastic and the lining is soft. Pockets were a plus, I did not expect. The textured fabric is actually large rose patterns. Mine was easily tailored to fit. Hopefully KU will continue this style going forward. Because it is an empire waist style or it can be fitted as such, it meant not having to worry about foundation garments. That’s a real plus for a busy mom of the groom at a diy wedding event. The fabric is substantial but this dress is not heavy at all. This was the first dress I tried on, and it was exactly what I was looking for.

Ready for the wedding!!
I absolutely love this dress!! I tried on so many dresses ands was very discouraged. This dress is elegant, comfortable and definitely NOT an old lady dress! The color is fabulous. Can’t wait for May 16th!!!
