I LOVE the floral prints of Kay Unger dresses! The details of the print are lovely. The neckline would be flattering on anyone. The gathering of fabric at the waist adds fashion interest, as well as proving a slimming affect. I also purchased the gown as a mother of the groom. I agree with another review, that the fabric has absolutely no give at all. From the photos, I expected it to be more “flowy”like a thick satin. It honestly reminds me of home decor fabric. For that reason, I am concerned it will be too warm for a spring wedding. I also agree with a previous review, that the top is disproportionately larger compared to the bottom. For reference, I am 55, 5’8”, 160 with a tone build, conscious about my tummy). It really is flattering. I chose to keep the 14 and have it taken in at top sides/arm pit. The length would be perfect for ladies of varying heights, as there’s a side slit, and the bottom hem isn’t straight across. I am choosing to keep it, but will excitedly await new lines of Kay Unger gowns in the months to come.

Raine Dress - Between sizes
Initially ordered size 6 which fit almost perfectly for upper body but could not sit. fabric has zero give. But loved this dress so much i ordered the 8... it does fit in the hips but the upper part will need to be altered completely.
It will be the perfect Mother of Groom dress in 2 weeks time.
